you already discover a forest from the
air? Would you like to take the same way
as the monkeys, from tree to tree and
from branch to branch? All these wishes
can be carried out thanks to our "canopy
tour". What is Canopy? It’s
a way allowing going through the forest
but along its canopy, thus allowing a
different perspective of the nature. You
will slide from platform to platform,
built on the trees and will use bridges
and cables, laid between each one, to
move you among this flora and fauna typical
of the dry forest. You will have the occasion
to see all kinds of animal, from iguanas,
to the parrot passing by the monkeys.
You will live extraordinary feelings when
sliding, thanks to a system of pulleys,
along a cable to find yourself hanging
in the air supported by a harness. |

guides with a good knowledge to help you
discover the secrets of Nature and a modern

The route is composed of 14 platforms.
It lasts approximately 2 hours. You will
need comfortable clothes, closed shoes
and all your courage!

Discover
the "mangrove" of Tamarindo
and the national park of Baulas on board
a boat. The "mangrove" is an
ecosystem of marshes where salted and
fresh water are mixed. In this hostile
area, fauna and flora had to use all their
resources to be able to survive. It results
a very rich and very interesting ecosystem
where plants and animals cohabit, some
times collaborating and sometimes in competition.
After the visit to the "mangrove
forest" of Tamarindo you will move
into the National Park of the "Baulas".
It consists of 445 hectares of surface
of beaches, forest and marsh. It was created
to protect the species in danger of extinction.

One
of those is the turtle "Baula",
the largest in the world, from where the
park takes his name.
You will have the possibility to observe
animals such as the white ibis, the "Congo"
and "white face” monkey, caimans,
etc… |
