| Lankester Gardens
& Orosi Valley (From San Jose) (One day) |

On
the trip from San Jose you will visit
the Basílica de Los Angeles in
Cartago. After your visit to the Basilica
your tour will take you to the Lankester
Gardens. These beautiful gardens feature
over 800 varieties of exotic orchids,
various tropical flowers and plant life.
Following your visit to the gardens, the
tour continues on to the famous Orosi
Valley and the Reventazón River.
The area is noted for its rich soil, abundant
plant life, and the coffee plantations.
You will stop for lunch at a restaurant
surrounded by a beautiful coffee plantation
with an excellent view of Cachí
Lake. In route you will visit one of the
oldest colonial churches in Costa Rica
and see the enchanting "Dreamers
House". |
